Zoe has more than 3 years experience working with companies to deliver practical solutions to improving labour conditions in their supply chains. Her experience includes social audits, due diligence 'health checks', deep dive investigations and capacity building. She has developed training on modern slavery, grievance mechanisms, age verification systems and responsible recruitment. Alongside this, she also managed a multi-stakeholder programme in Bangladesh delivering Human Resources and Productivity training to garment factories.
Zoe has worked across a range of industries including garments, agriculture, electronics and automotive and with clients that include fashion houses, retailers, electronics firms and development finance.
Before moving into ethical trade and labour rights, Zoe worked in publishing, where she worked with Accountancy and Law Association bodies to develop CPD courses. She spent 3 years living in China, as well as having spent time in Taiwan, India and Bangladesh, giving her a deep understanding of local contexts and challenges. She has a BA in politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
