Sabine Peters-Halfbrodt is a sustainability professional and strategic facilitator with experience in marketing, corporate communication, public affairs and corporate social responsibility. In recent years, she gained a strong footprint in developing international sustainable agriculture supply chains. She is experienced in building cross-sector partnerships between global businesses, government, civil society and smallholder farming communities to develop a sustainable supply chain. Her work focuses on creating multiple stakeholder initiatives that can navigate complexity, find clarity and identify where value lies for the business or project.
Sabine has worked two decades for Mondelēz International (former Kraft Foods) in different roles, since 2009 with a specific focus on corporate responsibility, sustainability and human rights. She has a strong track record in developing integrated commodities strategies and programs for specific agricultural areas, such as cocoa, coffee, palm oil and dairy. She is recognized as a strong communicator and has profound know how in managing issues such as human rights, animal welfare and deforestation.
Sabine is passionate about strong and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders that generate value for all partners along the value chain. She has an excellent network to all relevant stakeholder groups, such as governmental and non-governmental organizations, associations and media. She believes in sector initiatives such as Global Coffee Platform (4C Association), International Cocoa Initiative (ICI), IDH Platform, the Forum for Sustainable Cocoa in Germany, Associations and other relevant groups.
