David is a Senior Consultant based in London with a diverse background in ethical trade and management consulting.
Before joining twentyfifty, David worked two years for the Ethical Trading Initiative, a multi-stakeholder initiative convening some of the most progressive companies, trade unions and NGOs to address ethical trade issues. He led an extensive project aiming to revise ETI’s assessment framework in alignment with UNGPs and OECD guidelines. He also led on transparency issues and advised various businesses on their ethical trade strategy, gaining exposure to apparel and retail sectors as well as working closely with various civil society organisations.
Before ETI, David worked for the Ethical Fashion Forum for a year on a start-up project, supporting them in the development of a new online platform and especially working on a solution to assess the CSR performance of companies across the apparel value chain. His background is principally management consulting, where he advised large financial organisations for four years in Paris on their sourcing strategy and management issues. He worked on various transformation projects touching on governance, processes and change management issues, working closely with procurement departments, suppliers in various countries and internal teams, from senior management to operational staff.
David has a Masters in Management from Kedge Business School (Bordeaux, France).
