Anneke is a human rights and responsible sourcing consultant based in Berlin.
Prior to joining twentyfifty, Anneke worked as a project manager at the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles, a German multi-stakeholder initiative bringing together brands and retailers, government, trade unions and NGOs to address sustainability issues along the fashion supply chain. In her previous role she facilitated a peer learning group on responsible purchasing practices for business members and led the Partnership’s work on living wages and effective grievance mechanisms. She also managed an extensive project aiming to revise the Partnership’s assessment framework in alignment with UNGPs and OECD guidelines.
Before joining the Partnership, Anneke worked for a GIZ project on social and labour standards in the garment industry in Cambodia and as a research assistant for a corporate and leadership ethics project at the Hamburg Institute for International Economics.
Anneke holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Groningen and an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, both in the Netherlands.
