Case Study: Human Rights Capacity Diagnostic

The Human Rights Capacity Diagnostic (HRCD) is a self-assessment tool enabling companies to assess and improve their management capacity to respect human rights and conduct human rights due diligence.

It was developed by twentyfifty based on over a decade’s experience in supporting multinationals to implement human rights due diligence and it is aligned with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Users receive customised suggestions for next steps to advance their human rights practice.

The HRCD is hosted on the Human Rights Due Diligence Info Portal which supports companies in setting up and improving their human rights due diligence processes.

twentyfifty provided the content and conceptualisation for the portal, which includes a wealth of easily accessible resources.

The portal is hosted by the Global Compact Network Germany and was funded by BMZ.
