As the implementation partner of the German Global Compact Network, twentyfifty is conducting a coaching for German banks and other financial institutions.

This introductory training will address questions such as:

  • Do financial institutions have a responsibility to respect human rights?
  • What would this responsibility entail in practice?
  • Can a bank be held responsible if its loans are linked to human rights violations?

The training will focus on the expectations put forward in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the German National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights and explore how human rights due diligence can be implemented by banks and other financial institutions.

The training is hosted by the Verein für Umweltmanagement und Nachhaltigkeit in Finanzinstituten e.V.
