Ticino, Switzerland, Workshop for SMEs: Human Rights Due Diligence in Practice (in Italian)

This workshop is commissioned by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) as part of the Swiss strategy for implementing the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Companies have a responsibility to respect Human Rights. Even smaller companies are exposed to human rights due diligence requirements. However, transposing these diligence requirements into the operational reality of (small) businesses is not always easy.
twentyfifty partners with the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland and SUPSI to deliver a workshop for SMEs on December 12th 2018. The workshop will be held in Italian.
By attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understanding national and international human rights due diligence requirements and how they apply to your business
- Receive practical guidance on how to identify potential risks and impacts associated with your company’s operations and value chain
- Define processes to address these risks and impacts
- Learn from practical examples and discussions with each other
