Identifying the human rights impacts associated with the commodity trading sector is a continuous challenge given the diversity and complexity of its supply chains. twentyfifty and STSA (The Swiss Trading & Shipping Association) organize a training to provide business practitioners with guidance on how to develop human rights processes within their company, in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Businesses and Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct as well as the soon to be published Commodity Trading Sector Guidance.

By attending this training, participants will be able to understand how to: identify the human rights risks and impacts associated with their company’s operations as well as trading and purchasing practices; Analyse processes to address these risks and impacts; Prioritise business action, based on identified salient issues.  During the training, participants will have the opportunity to learn from each other and exchange on practical case studies.
