Bern - Workshop on Modern Slavery in Global Supply Chains

This workshop on modern slavery in global supply chains is commissioned by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) as part of the Swiss strategy for implementing the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Identifying modern slavery risks in global supply chains is particularly challenging as it is a very hidden crime. This workshop will provide participants an introduction into the issue of modern slavery. It will help participants to identify modern slavery related risks and improvement opportunities across their operations and business relationships. Interactive exercises will encourage participants to share their experiences and learn from other businesses.
