Gary is a practitioner in leadership, learning and organisational change. He has a foundation in environmental science and a track-record of senior management in direct marketing and project management.

Relevant casework includes:

• Facilitator and coach to an organisational change programme for a European car manufacturer. Co-led workshops engaging all staff to bring about culture change and improve business performance through genuine customer service.
• Organisational change consultant, local government. Provided executive support to develop a participative strategy for change, engage staff and integrate business and change plans.
• Consultant for change management to a Europe-wide programme implementing SAP/APO in a global retail-brands manufacturer. Provided leadership support to develop and manage the change strategy. Developed the high-level training strategy and plan. Co-led board-level and country manager communication forums, engaging leadership support and involvement across the European region.

Gary was a core member of the Merchants Group and contributed to the company becoming European leader in customer management and contact centre consulting in the 1990s. Senior roles included Head of Account Management (UK) and Head of Customer Services (Netherlands).

Gary has a BSc in Environmental Science (Plymouth) and MSc in personal and organisational change (Surrey). He is a member of ODiN (OD Innovation Network) and a Panel member of the UK Sustainable Development Commission.
