Madeleine Koalick Germany
Madeleine is our Berlin-based contact for twentyfifty’s activities in Germany. She has gained experience in corporate responsibility and sustainability issues through her work with the Focal Point of the UN Global Compact Network in Germany. In particular, this has supported the Focal Point, and the companies who are members of the network, on business and human rights and sustainable supply chain management.
Before joining twentyfifty, Madeleine worked as project manager for German think tank adelphi on sustainable procurement, and as a freelance consultant for a German Dax-30 company. She has also been a Carlo Schmid fellow at the Geneva Office of Human Rights Watch (HRW) where she contributed to HRW’s advocacy work at the UN Human Rights Council, including in regard to the work of the UN Special Representative on Business and Human Rights.
Madeleine has a strong research background on corporate responsibility and governance. As a research assistant at the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 700 she analyzed determinants of success for transnational public private partnerships. She studied political science in Berlin and at IEP Strasbourg and holds a diploma from Free University Berlin.
