TwentyFifty has added the UK's Ministry of Justice, the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Vodafone and Rio Tinto to its client list in 2009

The summer slowdown is rapidly coming to the end, though we hardly noticed it! Its been a busy year for TwentyFifty.  We have added a number of new clients this year and are undertaking a range of exciting projects.

A major focus has been our on-going work with the Ministry of Justice, the Department of Health and a range of other government departments as they seek to understand whether and how the 'business and human rights' dialogue can be furthered in the UK.  A published report will be available shortly and we are working with a range of stakeholders, including businesses, to identify practical ways forward based on the findings of this work.

We continue to support Anglo American develop its Supply Chain Sustainable Development programme.  Notably, Anglo's supply chain score in the BitC Corporate Responsibility Index has move from 58% to 90% in the past year.

We have also been involved in:

- preparing teams to deal with the human rights challenges they encounter in some of the world's most difficult countries

- helping senior teams and sustainability professionals get to grips with what human rights means for their business and exploring what gaps and opportunities a human rights lens shines on their existing programmes

- developing management practices to ensure migrant workers in contracted workforces do not face exploitation

In November, we will be repeating our successful human rights coaching for businesses, hosted by the German UN Global Compact Network/GTZ in Berlin.
