Janet Shepherd

Janet has been working in the field of environmental management and social responsibility since 1992. She has extensive experience in the retail industry, of supply chain issues and working with NGO agendas. She runs the environmental management consultancy EcoAgility.

Her environmental management career started 20 years ago with The Body Shop International plc. This encompassed their pioneering work on environmental and social reporting, responsible ingredient sourcing, packaging minimisation, recycling, supply chain screening, customer engagement campaigns and stakeholder engagement.

For several years Janet sat on the British Retail Consortium Environmental Policy Advisory Group and its Working Group on Product Stewardship. As well as being a Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, Janet is a trained Environmental Management Systems Auditor.
